SMS Terms & Opt-Out Policy

Program Description

NoReceptionist provides an AI receptionist service for small businesses. When a business uses NoReceptionist, their customers may receive SMS messages for the following purposes:

• Appointment confirmation immediately after booking
• Appointment reminder 24 hours before the scheduled time
• Replies to booking or scheduling questions the customer initiates by texting the business number

Separately, a business may offer optional marketing messages(offers, promotions & updates). These are sent only to customers who explicitly opt in to marketing — a separate, affirmative choice that is never required to book. Marketing messages are described in the section below and can be stopped independently.

Marketing Messages (Optional)

If a business offers it, you may opt in to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (offers, promos & updates) from that specific business. You opt in by tapping a “Text to opt in” button and sending the pre-filled message from your phone, or by replying JOIN to a marketing invitation. The full disclosure is shown before you opt in.

• Consent is not a condition of any purchase — you can always book without opting in.
• Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Where a business uses a dedicated marketing number, you can stop marketing there without affecting your appointment confirmations and reminders; otherwise a STOP opts you out of that business's messages.

How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS in one of two ways:

• After booking by phone or chat:The AI receptionist asks you verbally or in chat: “Would you like a text confirmation sent to this number from [Business Name]?” SMS is only sent if you affirmatively say yes.
• By texting the business number first:If you text a business's published NoReceptionist number, you are opting in to receive replies for your booking inquiry. The disclosure “by texting this number you agree to receive SMS replies from [Business Name]” appears wherever the number is published.

Opting in is never required to book an appointment. You can always book without enrolling in SMS.

Message Frequency

Typically 2 messages per booking (1 confirmation + 1 reminder), plus replies to any messages you send to the business number. Message frequency may vary based on your interactions.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any SMS from a NoReceptionist number at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages from that number. To re-enroll, reply START.

How to Get Help (HELP)

Reply HELPto any SMS from a NoReceptionist number. You will receive a reply with the business's contact information and a link to this page. You can also reach us at support@noreceptionist.ai.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your phone number or opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing.

Privacy

Your phone number and messaging history are used solely to operate the appointment booking service for the specific business you are interacting with. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
